This Creative Me program is a perfect way to introduce your child to the art of drawing and much more. These programs are designed to peak students interest, motivate them to ask questions, and learn to solve drawing and design challenges creatively, by learning skills and techniques in the art of drawing, painting or medium of choice. The Creative Me program is meant to experiment and to develop a personal style, while incorporating the interests, cultures and backgrounds of the student.
Ages: 7-19 Mondays 6- 7:30 pm 6 week program,
This is a continuous program, every 6 weeks students are required to register, students are encouraged to continue in the program for as long as they want to improve their skills, as long as they're enjoying themselves.
Skill Level: Beginners
Students will learn. Diverse Art Mediums
Drawing, painting, and mixed media
They will receive all the attention and guidance needed individually, to ask questions that might assist them with their level of skill.
They will learn to improve Observation Skills, students will explore cultural cues that they can incorporate into their art, while learning about themselves and finding what makes their art unique. Being creative involves taking risks, and allowing your self to try new things that will help you to come to understand what you as an artist like or dislike. These programs will provide an environment of exploration risk taking and no critiques all in a positive atmosphere. With age Appropriate Lessons.
